If you’re looking for some legit uppage on the mood front, jet to Amsterdam asap and check out the Moodwall.

The Moodwall is a 24 meter long, interactive light installation in a pedestrian tunnel in Bijlmer. Built out of 2500 led lamps behind a semi-transparent wall, the Moodwall responds to people passing by with moving lights that help them feel safer and happier. It’s a fun, creative use of public space that serves a function while looking good. (yo NYC, are you listening?)

The Moodwall was concepted by media architecture collective Urban Alliance and winner of a competition for ideas to improve public space.

  1. This is like that wall in the D train tunnel coming from Brooklyn into the city. All of a sudden, the wall is perforated and in the spaces you can see these flashes of color…. moodwall2.0?
