I am a Senior Brand Manager and Socialife Strategist at Badger & Partners, and like all of us here, my affinity for beauty and skincare products can only be described as an all-consuming love. This wasn’t always the case, however. I credit my best friend from college for welcoming me into the world of beauty with her tutorial on eye shadow – one color for the lid, another for the crease and yet another to highlight the brow bone. After that, there was no turning back.
When it comes to beauty and skincare, I love trying the latest and greatest. When Allure reported on coffeeberry, the new super-potent antioxidant, I scoured the city for a dermatologist who carried RevaleSkin. (Dr. Alexiades-Armenakas, who else?) But when I find something that works, I remain hopelessly devoted. Frizz-reducing technology supposedly just entered the next century, but I’ll continue to buy bottle after bottle of Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream until they stop making it.
I’ll admit, I went through a temporary period of infidelity with my mascara. I had gotten bored with my simple-but-always-there-for-me Clinique Long Pretty Lashes, and wanted a little more excitement in my life. But after a short-lived experimental phase, I realized that nothing performs more consistently, without the drama of clumps and smudges. From here on out, I’ll stand by my brand.
