On Monday, we hinted at our suspicions for Anna Wintour’s recent press blitz and today we can officially say…we were right.
The details of “Fashion’s Night Out” – a collaborative retail incentive, set to go down on September 10th, was announced by Mayor Bloomberg and a sprinkling of fashion’s finest…like, Anna Wintour. The idea was to get a bunch of retailers together for one night, with fun events/classes/parties in addition to just the clothes to generate some excitement & get us shopping again (I mean, not that we really ever stopped).
But wait, where are the sales?!?!? I mean, if you really want me to go out and buy up a storm at least give me an additional 10% off. And, because this is a one-night-only event, does this mean that we’re going to have to (gasp!) pick and choose which stores we want to hit up?!?!?
