It’s been a while! Anna here. As a strategist at beautylab I have the fun job of researching anything and everything so you’ll see me mostly in the trends write-ups. I’m more an eye-liner and go girl but I am currently obsessed with the Brigitte Bardot smokey eyes-nude lip look.
I’ve flip flopped between eye pencil and liquid eye liner for years now, and one day just decided to use both at the same time. Love the Sephora liquid liner for the top line – it makes for a clean line and easy to control wing – and the Stila Smudge Pot gel liner for the bottom line has the perfect smudge factor. And introducing my new love…. drumroll please…. the MAC Myth lipstick. I’m more a gloss girl but this is the perfect nude matte with a touch of pink that has brought my search for the nude-but-not-dead lips to a dead end. A quick coat of Sally Hansen LipInflation on top turns lips into the perfect Angelina Jolie lips (or as Angelina as I can get with my genetically pout deprived lips) in the ultimate nude color.
But my ultimate summer obsession is green nails. Yes internets, bright green. Color Club’s Wild Child is the perfect splash of green – not too yellowy and not too dark – that catches the eye and flatters all skin tones. trust me.
