Hola beautycall readers!

My name is Debbie and I’ve been with B&P since May as the Receptionist/Office Manager/Executive Assistant, which basically means I do everything under the sun.

I am a creature of habit, a simple person with the taste of an average New York City girl. Although I do love the finer things in life, my tips and recommendations about beauty products don’t come from fashion magazines.  Most of them come from sitting around a table with my girlfriends and a bottle of wine, chatting about the great lip gloss they just bought, or this new face wash that “like totally” cleared up their skin.  My makeup case is full of products I love – they hold more meaning for me than what’s new this month – they’re memories.

I’m a firm believer that clear skin is the first step toward better-looking, easy to wear makeup.  To keep everything in check, I can’t live without:

1) A bacteria-killing face wash (Avon Clearskin® Invigorating Cleansing Scrub)
2) A light, oil-free moisturizer (Neutrogena® Oil-Free Fresh Moisture)
3) A non-pore clogging concealer/foundation (bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation)

And now, for my 5 minute morning routine….drum roll please!!!

1)    Apply Bare Minerals on chin and eyes with concealer brush, then dust entire face with ol’ faithful (my kabuki)
2)    Apply bronzer to ensure I look like I’m actually awake at 8AM
3)    Apply blush on cheekbones for a happy glow
4)    Never forget mascara!!!  (I only apply eyeliner with an angled brush for a night out on the town)
5)    Finish with some favorite lip-gloss, selected depending on my mood, professional or flirty
